Even the economy submitted to the direct control of the British. This the most important sector in the Egyptian society affected by the British ence on the Egyptian lands, by all its elements, agriculture, industry
Surly what mentioned above was a reflection for the reasons which Amin Osman had said his famous declaration about the Anglo-Egyptian ’ons. Osman had declared that the relationship between Egypt and Great ’n was in effect Ira Catholic marriage”.
Egyptian intellectuals had accused the British occupation of two r ills: keeping the country uneducated to justify a continued occupation killing off Egyptian industry in favor of agricultural development.

1- Signing the 1936 treaty
2- The Second World War
3- The Palestinian War
4- The abrogation ofthe 1936 treaty 5- The outbreak of 1952 Revolution
