Abstract
Colored concrete is a special type of concrete, which becomes widespread and substantial in many countries, especially in the U.S. and Western countries. It contains many types such as stained concrete, stamped concrete, polished concrete and other types.
This research is carried out to study the impact of the colored pigments on the concrete and its various properties using a number of colored pigments found in the Egyptian market; some of these pigments made in china and some of them made in Germany. The effects of these materials were studied on the fresh and hardened concrete.
The consistency, the strength and the durability are the basic concrete properties that have been interested in the research.
The consistency studied by slump test, the strengths studied by comprehensive strength test, the durability studied by abrasion and permeability test and the effect of the pigments on these properties have been recorded and drown.
