Abstract
Fifty isolates of A. fumigatus were collected using dilution plate method from soil, fresh water, treated waste water, rice straw and cheese in different localities from Sharkia, Garbia and Asuit governorates, Egypt. The secondary metabolites extracted by n- butanol of forty tested strains were active against B. subtilus (G +ve) on the other hand 32 A. fumigatus strains metabolite were found active against E. coli (G -ve), 22 active against K. pneumonia (G -ve), 24 against F. oxysporum and 20 only found active against P. chrysogenum. cytotoxicity test for A. fumigatus strains-metabolites unusual strain of E. coli BR 315 that has many changes in its DNA compared to wild strain indicated that among the forty strains metabolites of A. fumigatus only two namely A. fumigatus Fr. AUMC 8000- and A. fumigatus Fr. AUMC 8002-metabolities were positive and these may be produce anticancer active compounds. Antimicrobial activity of these two metabolites against some bacteria, MTT (4, 5 dimethyl thiazol-2-yl-2, 5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) test and in vivo, lethality (Toxicity) test which determined by using Artemia salina as convenient monitor for screening and discovery of new bioactive natural products relieve and confirm the safely use of these two metabolites as antitumor compounds.
