Abstract
enerally speaking both drugs are useful in treating symptomatic fibrocystic disease of the breast. With a slight rapid response for patients treated by Tamoxifen but with almost similar pain score at the end of the study.
Patients with non cyclic mastalgia showed a minor response to both medications.
Side effects have been mild in both groups of patients, and usually decreased after the first month of treatment which it’s more obvious on those had been treated by Bromocripitine.
One of the limitations of our study is the small number of patient and the short period of follow up further studies are needed to compare the response of different types of fibrocystic disease to medical treatment.
