المستخلص
Research problem revolves around know the reasons for the out performance for investment funds in investment banks, and foreign versus investment funds in national Egyptian commercial banks operating in the Egyptian market.
Purposes of the Study:
The current study aims at analyzing the performance of the investment funds using three different measures which are Sharp, Trynor, and Jensen Measures.
Results:
1-The most important findings of the study that the type of funds (stocks) contributes to the interpretation of out performance for investment funds in investment banks and foreign.
2-The study found the importance of management companies in interpretation of performance for the benefit of investment funds in investment banks and foreign.
3-The study found the importance of objective of the Fund (growth) in interpreting the performance for the benefit of investment funds in investment banks and foreign .
Recommendations:
•Focus on stocks funds where the classification of stocks funds comes in the first place in three models (Sharpe, Trynor, Jensen)
•Focus on management companies (Hermes) which come second in the order of variables that explain the performance of investment funds .
•Focus on funds that aim to (growth) since it was found that the objective of the Fund (growth) comes in third place after the fund type (stocks) and management companies.
