Abstract

Abstract4,6-Diaryl-1-(2′,3′,4′,6′-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-gluco/galactopyranosyloxy)pyridin-2-one-3-carbonitrile 3a-c, riboside 6a-c, and lactoside 9a-c were obtained by the reaction of 1a-c with glucosyl / galactosyl / actosyl bromide and peracetylated ribose under the conventional and microwave methods. Deprotection of 3a-c, 6a-c, and 9a-c in the presence of Et3N / MeOH and few drops of water afforded 4a-c, 7a-c and 10a-c. The structure of the new synthesized compounds was assigned by spectral and microanalysis data.
