Abstract

Brucellosis is a zoonotic bacterial ( caused by microorganism of the genus brusella). It is a major economic and public health significance. It has been recognized as an occupation-related disease and it is a disbling occupational disease. It is present in the Egyptian schedule ( disabling occupational disease) under the title of infectious fevers (No. 24). Though the disease is widespread throughout the world. It prevalence is difficult to assess, as human brucellosis is often not diagnosed, may be mistaken for other infections and in-apparent form of disease are frequent, Also, in developing countries, absence of surveillance programs, diagnostic facilities or reliable data contribute to the problem.
