Abstract
finally the recommendations that can be drawn from the present study could be as follows: 1. The choice of surgical technique used for primary surgical repair of CP should be based on the severity of the deformity as well as the width of the cleft, therefore, meticulous selection of the technique used is required. 2. Cleft surgeon should be equipped by several techniques and protocols so as to be able to treat different cases based on the special needs of each case rather than fitting one technique to all patients. 3. Feeding, speech, audiological concerns should be adequately met in patients with CP to improve their quality of life. 4. Regular Growth monitoring for patients with CLP. 5. The multidisciplinary care is a crucial aspect in management of CLP.
