Abstract o In the present work, synthesis and polymerization 3-amino-2-(l-. (napthalen-2-yloxy)-3-oxo-3-phenylpropyl) quinazolin-4(3H)-one)-4 with mehtacrylic acid in the presence of N,N-dicyclohexyl carbodimide (DCCI) as hydrating agent at 0°C and the prepared monomers were polymerized in presence of lmol% Azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) and dimethylformamide (DMF)as solvent at 70CC. o Copolymerization reactions between the monomer 7 with methyl acrylate (MA), methylmethacrylate (MMA) and styrene (ST), the composition of the resulting copolymers were calculated by knowing the nitrogen content in the prepared copolymers using the elemental analysis. The reactivity ratios of three systems studied were determined by both Finemaun-Ross and Kelen-Tudos methods. 0 In all system studied no azeotropic copolymers appears and the structure of all the synthesized compounds were confirmed by their spectral and analytical data; IR and 1HNMR. o Some of the newly synthesized compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity using the diffusion agar techniques were tested against bacterial and fungal species which useful in pharma cological species. |
