Abstract Adequate obturation of the root canal system following intracanal preparation is a major objective of endodontic treatment. It is necessary to select root canal obturating material that has a potential to provide an adequate seal and reinforce the root structure. Therefore, this in-vitro study was performed to evaluate fracture resistance and sealing ability of endodontically treated roots usmg different root canal preparation obturation combinations. One hundred and twenty freshly extracted human maxillary central incisors were selected, the coronal portions of each tooth was removed, leaving root segment of nearly 16±1 mm length. |
