Abstract The aim of this study is to compare Zirconia -Alumina abutments versus bconventional Titanium abutments supporting all ceramic crowns in vitro by: Measuring fracture resistance of crown and abutment. Analyzing mode of failure using SEM. Forty-eight analogues (resembling implant) with a diameter of 4 mm and length of 13 mm (Biohorizos, USA) represent missed root of upper first p,remolar were used in this study. The implants were divided, according to the type of abutments used into three groups (of 16 specimens each). |
