Abstract The increased prevalence of TIDM in children and adolescents with its complications especially micro-vascular ones pushing us to search how to stop or at least postpone the progression of the disease and its complications. So the aim of the study was to assess the frequency of pulmonary function abnormalities in children and adolescent with type 1 diabetes mellitus to correlate it with the parameters of metabolic control and to evaluate pulmonary microangiopathy in those patients. |
