Abstract High success rate, low incidence of complications, and rapid recovery represent highly appealing reasons for making transcatheter renal artery embolization first-choice treatment option in post traumatic vascular lesions. Hyperselective catheterization and embolization allows parenchymal sparing, thus reducing the incidence of adverse events such as renal dysfunction and hypertension.
