Abstract
Plantc chemicals such as carbohydrates fats amino acids proteins nucleic acid and chlorophylls are called primary metabolic products because they are essential for the growth and survival of plants and common to all plant species substances such as terpenoids phenols and alkaloids are called secondary metabolic Products because they are not so for known to be invloved in the biosynthesis of primary plant metabolites.
