Abstract Nag-Hammadi area represents an important part of the Nil Basin in upper Egypt.nit is located between Latitudes 26° and 26°30´N and LONGITUDES 32ºand 32º30´E.it has interesting geological and hydrogeological situations. The area is dominated by post Eocene sedimenyts and bounded by Eocene rocks. it is underlain by the Quaternary and the Plio-Pleistocene water bearing sediments. |
