المستخلص
This Study concerns the important issue of the ”human development and the Millennium Development Goals. Is under study for the most important Egyptian city of cultural importance, and service, the largest population, which is Cairo , ”the capital of Egypt” Study in five chapters Four of which have been allocated for the application to Cairo governorate, The first chapter discusses Methods of measuring human development , And used in the construction of tables of the study, Without the first chapter cannot understand how to build tables of the study ,Through the study the student analyzes the position of human development within the governorate, with the comparison between Cairo and the governorates of the republic, especially the urban governorates.
through the study the student reaches of the truth to the problems which have caused a low level of human development in the governorate suggesting has some solutions. The problems were to :
- Low education directory
- Increasing inequality between the sexes
- Increase the number of residents in high-risk areas (slums, and cemeteries residential), where the number of slum areas in Cairo 81 area inhabited by about 3 million people, and the number of cemeteries population of about 600 thousand people
Population concentration result of internal migration to Cairo-
- Failure to achieve many of the Millennium Goals indicators by 2015
