Abstract
Menopause is a definitive marker in women’s reproductive life and is characterized by the gradual disappearance of estrogens, leading to acute intermediate and chronic manifestations. Many women approach menopause with uncertainty about what will happen and how to deal with changes that occur. As the menopause transition has physiological and psychological effects on women, the nuse can play an important role in helping them to cope with and to achieve high-level functioning at this time in their lives.
