Introduction :
In light of the rapid changes and the flow of knowledge and technological witnessed by the current era is no longer the goal of the educational process is limited to give the learner knowledge and basic facts and skills, but should exceed that goal to develop the capacity of learners to think different Bonamath.
Because mathematics is fertile ground for the acquisition of different thinking skills and their users knowledge and facts, rules and mathematical laws and disseminate this knowledge to various daily activities and life, has included the objectives of teaching mathematics in most countries targets emphasizes concern for the development thinking Bonamath different, and mathematical thinking in particular, which is the basis for the thought process in mathematical problem solving and extrapolate general laws and devise partial issues of public issues.
Which makes it imperative for the educational institutions that provide opportunities and tools and appropriate strategies and programs that stimulate learners to think and practice in attitudes and curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Research problem and his questions.
The problem with the search in the lower level of mathematical thinking among students in middle school, saw the researcher to begin to address this problem from the first row which represents the beginning of preparatory stage where it tried to search the current answer the main question follows:
How effectiveness use of Educational scaffolding in the development of mathematical thinking among students in first grade intermediate (sample)? .
The answer to this question through the following sub-questions:
1. What effectiveness use of Educational scaffolding in the developing the skill induction among students of first grade students preparatory?.
2. What The effectiveness use of Educational scaffolding in the developing the skill deduction among students of first grade students preparatory?.
3. What The effectiveness use of Educational scaffolding in the developing of the skill visual spatial perception among students of first grade secondary?.
4. What The effectiveness use of Educational scaffolding in the developing of the skill mathematical proof among students in first grade secondary?.
5. What effectiveness use of Educational scaffolding in the developing of mathematical thinking skills (induction - deduction - visual spatial perception - mathematical proof) as a whole among students in first grade secondary?.
Research objectives.
Current research aims to:
1. Measure the effectiveness of the use of Educational scaffolding in the development of the skill induction among middle school students?.
2. Measure the effectiveness of the use of Educational scaffolding in the development of the skill deduction among middle school students?.
3. Measure the effectiveness of the use of Educational scaffolding in the development of the skill of visual perception of spatial among middle school students?.
4. Measure the effectiveness of the use of Educational scaffolding in the development of the skill mathematical proof among middle school students?.
5. Measure the effectiveness of the use of Educational scaffolding in the development of mathematical thinking skills (induction - inference - visual spatial perception - mathematical proof) as a whole among middle school students?.
The importance of research.
This research is in response to the global trends of global standards and attention to teach local and calendar math, mathematical thinking in particular through the teaching of mathematics so is the importance of the current research are as follows:
1 - For the teacher:
Search can help current teacher by providing:
- Tools and strategies (scaffolding) assist in the teaching of mathematics and the development of students’ mathematical thinking.
- Tools such as (teacher’s guide, worksheets students) assist in the teaching of mathematics using scaffolding educational.
2 - For the supervisors of mathematics:
Current search may help supervisors mathematics when directed to teachers in such a way as to help them in the development of students’ mathematical thinking and detection points that warrant a scaffold and educational form and when it is presented and how to evaluate it.
3 - For those in charge of the training of teachers:
Current search may help those involved in the training of teachers when building their training program so that it includes the content of these educational programs scaffolding and forms and how to use them and employ them as to help develop students’ thinking.
4 - for curriculum makers:
Current search may help the authors of the curriculum when reconsidered in the curriculum and rebuilt and presented in a manner helps to make the learning process meaningful, include activities help develop mathematical reasoning skills among students.
Beyond research.
Current search was limited to the following limits:
1. Sample of students in the first grade of secondary school Ahnasia prep girls status Ahnasia - Beni Suef.
2. And two ”relative numbers”, ”Geometry and Measurement” decision first grade math preparatory 2012 | 2013 first semester.
3. Time commitment to the plan established for the teaching of the two units.
4. Measure the mathematical thinking skills (induction - induction - visual spatial perception - mathematical proof) as the dependent variable.
5. Educational Scaffolding independent variable.
