Abstract
Myocardial infarcation to be a major cause of death throughout the world despite dramatic adavnces made in the treatment over the last 25 years As it is growing and people are affected by it the nurse has an important role in helping the people to live with disease and control it through various preventive and therapeutic measures (Albert, 2008)
All Patients who have had an acute MI should be offered long term treatment with a combination of the following drugs Ace (angiotensin- converting enzyme) inhibitors Aspirin beta- blockers and statins.
