Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of skeletally anchored
facemask in order to determine and differentiate the amount of protraction at the
skeletal level and dental level.
The sample consisted of 20 females growing patients requiring expansion
of the maxillary arch by facemask. They were divided into 2 groups namely
Mini-implant and Acrylic plate groups.
