Abstract
The present study was carried out to compare and quantify the
mechanical properties of commercially available Nickel- Titanium open
coil springs supplied by five different companies.
The sample consisted of sixteen groups of open-coil springs from
five manufacturers (3M Unitek, Ortho Classic, Ortho Organizers,
Dentaurum, and American Orthodontics).
