Abstract Five studies were conducted during screening of urinary system diseases in dogs and cats that presented to the Pet Clinic, included: 1. Evaluation data of physical examination, complete blood count, biochemical blood constituents, urinalysis and ultrasonography in clinically healthy dogs and cats. 2. Evaluation data of physical examination, complete blood count, biochemical blood constituents, urinalysis and ultrasonography in dogs suffered from cystitis. 3. Evaluation data of physical examination, complete blood count, Biochemical blood constituents, urinalysis and ultrasonography in cats suffered from polycystic kidneys. 4. Evaluation data of physical examination, complete blood count, Biochemical blood constituents, urinalysis and ultrasonography in cats suffered from feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD). 5. Therapeutic trial of cats suffered from (FLUTD). Significant changes were recorded concerning diagnosis and treatment. The obtained data should be put in consideration and to be taken as guide in diagnosis and treatment of such cases. |
