Abstract
Evaluation of effects of prebiotics on histological structure of bursa of fabricuis and cecal tonsils of broiler. A total of 4000 arbor acres broiler from local company (ommat) were raised from 1-35 days old, divided into two groups control and treated groups. The treated birds received water mixed with Inactivated cells of Propionibacterium acnes and Lipopolysaccharide from E. coli based prebiotic at inclusion rate 0.5-1 ml/ 1 litter, while the control birds took water free from prebiotic. It was found that these biological additives enhance the growth rate levels and immunity in treated birds as well as increasing the cellular density of bursal lymph nodules with increase epithelial surface area. In addition, significant appearance of ileum and cecal tonsils with increase of musculosa thickness, villus and intestinal crypt depth and length . A noticed increase in mucin dynamics in bursa of fabricius and caecal tonsils of treated group.
