Abstract
The aim of the present study was to assess the clinical and microbiological effects of moxifloxacin as an adjunct to scaling\root planing (SRP) and to compare it to SRP alone and SRP combined with the established antibiotic regimen metronidazole and augmentin in patients with advanced chronic periodontitis . The present study was performed on 30 patients diagnosed as having advanced chronic periodontitis.
