Abstract The purpose of present study is to evaluate the effect of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) bony ankylosis and its relevant gap arthroplasty on the auditory functions. Pure tone audiometry, tympanometry and CT scan of middle ear volume were utilized as calipers for assessment of auditory functions in ankylotic patients and after surgery of gap arthroplasty. |
