Abstract

The camel considered the ship of desert where it withstand any adverse climate or unfavourable condition. The camel can life without water and food for long periods, drinking large amount of water without haemolysis its red blood cells, on the other hand camel reserve about 50 Kg of water as metabolic water reserve due to presence of large amount of fat in the hump.
Camels milk also-show some differences from that of other species, where it contain high water content, iron, Mg, Ca and the water content not affected at any time of water deprivation or absence; many authors talks about medical importance of camel’s milk in treatment of many diseases includes, ascitis, hepatitis and tuberculosis also in sexual insufficiency.
from all mentioned data belong the camel including the variation in some physiological characters from other species, this make us to evoke a beam of light on some constituents of blood serum and milk in she camels in normal condition trying as possible to investigate the nutritional importance of camel’s milk as food for human.
For achieving this study thirty she camels were taken divided into three groups each group contains ten camels as follow:
A-First group includes ten camels in first month after parturation.
B-Second group: includes ten camels in 3rd month after parturation.
Summary 102
C- Third group: includes ten camels in 6th month after parturation.
Prepared serum and milk samples from each group were subjected for biochemical analysis which includes, determination of amino acids, fatty acids, estimation of enzymes activities (xanthine oxidase, catalase, amylase, lipase), cholesterol and triacylglycerols in both serum and milk samples.
The obtained results revealed that:
1) Amino acids in serum and milk:
A- Obtained results about amino acids in serum, revealed that amino acids, alanine, isoleucine, leucine and serine were significantly higher in third month than 1st and 6th month.
Amino acids, valine, methionine, phenyl alanine and ornithine were significantly higher in 3rd and 6th month than in 1st month. Glycine and aspartic acids were significantly higher in 1st and third month than 6th month. Amino acids, threonine and cysteine were significantly increased in 6th month than I st and 3rd month while that of amino butyric and glutamic acids were significantly higher in 1st and 6th month than in 3rd month lysine was significantly increased in 1st month than 3rd and 6th month.
Proline and histidine were show insignificant increase in the three periods.

B- Amino acids in milk:
There is significant increase of alanine, leucine and histidine in 3rd and 6th month than 1st month.
There is significant increase of threonine and glutamic acids in 3rd month than in 1st and 6th month.
Isoleucine and cysteine were significantly higher in 1st and 3rd month than in 6th month.
Proline and amino butyric acids were significantly higher in 1st and 6th month than in 3rd month.
Valine, glycine, serine, methionine, aspartic acids, phenylalanine, tyrOsine, lysine were shown insignificant increase between 1st, 3rd and 6th month of investigation.
2) Fatty acids in serum and milk:
A- Fatty acids in serum.
There was significant increase of C8, C16 and C20 fatty acids in 1st and 6th month than 3rd month.
and C18 were significantly increase
C10, C16:1
in 3rd and 6th month than 1st month.
There was significant increase of C18:3 fatty acid in 1st month than 3rd and 6th month. C12 and C14 were significant increased in 3rd
month than in 1st and 6th month.
There was insignificant increase of C18,1 and C18:2 between the three periods.
Summa ry 105
D- Lipase activities in serum and milk:
The results were indicate that there was significant increase of lipase activities in both
Summary 104
B- Fatty acids in milk:
There was significant increase of C8 and CI, fatty acids in 6th month than 1st and 3rd months.
There was significant increase of C18:3 and C2() fatty acids in 3rd and 6th months than 1st month.
There was significant increase of C18,1 in 3rd and 6th month than 1st month.
C14 was significantly increased in 1st and 6th month than 3id month:
There was insignificant increase of CI„, C12 , C16:1 and C18:2 fatty acids in the three periods. 3) Estimation of enzymes activities:
A-Xanthine oxidase activities in blood serum and milk the obtained data were shown that there was significant increase of the enzyme activities in 1st and 3rd month than 6th month in serum also there is significant increase of xanthine oxidase activities in 1st and 3rd month than 6th month in milk.
B-Catalase activities in serum and milk: The results revealed that there was significant increase of enzyme activities in both serum and milk in 1st and 6th months than 3rd month.
C-Amylase activities in serum and milk: The obtained result were shown significant increase of amylase activities in both serum and milk in 1st month than in 3rd and 6th months.
