Abstract
This thesis is devoted to the phytochemical study of the leaves and the bark of Tipuana tipu growing in Egypt as well as biological study of the different extracts and some of the isolated compounds.
The thesis is divided into 3 parts:-
Part I: Chemical Investigation of Tipuana tipu (Benth.) Lillo Leaves
This part includes 4 chapters
- Chapter I: Preliminary phytochemical screening and proximate analysis
- Chapter II: Chemical investigation of pet. ether extract
- Chapter III: Chemical investigation of EtOAc extract
- Chapter IV: Chemical investigation of n-butanol extract
Part II: Chemical Investigation of Tipuana tipu (Benth.) Lillo Bark
This part include 2 chapters
- Chapter 1: Preliminary phytochemical screening and proximate analysis
- Chapter 2: Chemical investigation of EtOAc extract
Part III: Biological study.
