Abstract Skin diseases are clinically important affections faces canine practitioners in daily basis. Clinical findings are very similar and the causative agents may not be apparent based solely on the findings of a clinical examination. A total number of 120 dogs with different sexes, breeds and ages ranged between (2 months - 9 years) examined in this study for clinical signs, hematologic, serum biochemical alterations, specific in-clinic rapid diagnostic tests were used. This study showed demodicosis followed by fungal affection, pyoderma, internal parasite,allergic skin diseases;and mixed skin affection were the most common skin problems in dogs. Appropriated therapeutic regimens for each diagnostic condition were used. |
