Abstract The significant flux increase in cosmic rays intensity of 29 September 1989 associated great SEPs event. The GLE-SEP together accompanied by strong solar flares and fast CME with speed 1828 km/s. Generally, it is most probable that the solar flares (1B/X9.8) and CMEs contributed together into generation of powerful events of 29 September 1989. The flux of SEPs shows rapid increases just at the flare onset. In addition, the considered event caused highly perturbed state in the interplanetary medium and the solar activity remained highly active pre- and post- the considered event. Furthermore, the great event has a high effect on the geomagnetic activity indices. |
