Abstract

Summary of The Study in English
A Program of Professional Intervention from the Perspective of the Generalist Practice in Social Work to Support the National Unity Values for Preparatory School Students
First:The Problem of The Study.
National unity, a strong bond between the citizens of a particular state which is achieved stability and progress for the country and without it destroys society, and the Egyptian people proud and still set an example in hardness and its national unity and the practice of values of (tolerance and peace and continues to) social between Muslims and Christians, and therefore failed all attempts to stir up sedition between Muslims and Christians in Egypt, and to maintain this unity strong requires him to work on strengthening the continuous values of (tolerance and peace and continues to) social between Muslims and Christians, especially among school students young because they are more susceptible to plant misconceptions extremist minds affect their feelings and weaken the level of exercise to the values of national unity between Muslims and Christians, and because of the social work profession from the perspective of the generalist practice of the role of domain schooling in strengthening values among students, prompting the current study to design, implement and study the impact of intervention program professional from the perspective of generalist practice in social work to support the values of national unity among students in the preparatory stage.
Secondly:The Importance of The Study:
1 . Values represent national unity actually need , and everyone in the Egyptian society is in urgent need at this time to strengthen the protection of the fabric of national unity in Egypt and the target of all the forces of evil and sin and aggression in the world.
2 . Represents students in the preparatory stage one important sectors in the Egyptian society they form an essential element in building a better future if Togerm and take care of them , and to strengthen the values of national unity, they have to make sure in which feelings of belonging and loyalty to the community.
3 . Growing public interest in Egyptian diligence to support the values of national unity in the society especially among young people to protect them from the infiltration of extremist ideology and behavioral abnormalities extremist them .
4 . Exploratory study conducted by the researcher , which is a study to estimate the position to know the current status of the problem , where the applied researcher measure the values of national unity on the students second grade school manor Nassar prep Benin ’s population of 178 students , has been shown from the results of the scoping study to ( 107 ) of any by (% 60.11) of the total number of second -grade students with low or twice the level in the exercise of their respective values of national unity (57) Muslim student , (50) Christian student .
5 . The moment of the most appropriate time for the social work profession to support the values of national unity among students in the preparatory stage .
6 . Paucity of empirical studies related to effectively program for professional intervention from the perspective of general practice in social service to support the values of national unity among students in the preparatory stage, which reflect the progress of the social work profession .
7 . Contribute to the construction of the theoretical heritage of Social work in general and the generalist practice of social work in particular.
Thirdly:The Objectives of The Study.
• The first objective of the study is: ” to support the values of national unity among students in the preparatory stage through the implementation of a program of professional intervention from the perspective of generalist practice in social work among students in the preparatory stage”.
• The second objective of the study is: ” Testing the study hypotheses”, are as follows:
1 . The first main hypothesis : ” There are significant differences of statistical significance between the mean scores of students (experimental group) on a scale values of national unity before and after the professional intervention”.
2 . The second major hypothesis : ” There are significant differences of statistical significance between the mean scores of students (experimental group) on observation manual of the behaviors relating to practice of national unity values of the students before and after the professional intervention”.
• The third objective of the study is: ” test the validity of the intervention program in professional achieve the goal of strengthening the values of national unity among students in the preparatory stage .”
Fourthly: The Study Hypotheses.
• The first main hypothesis of the study:
”There are differences with statistical significance between the mean scores of the students ( the experimental group) on a scale values of national unity before and after the professional intervention”.
And are validated this hypothesis through the main test the validity of the following sub-three hypotheses:
- Sub- first hypothesis: ”There are differences with statistical significance between the mean scores of the students ( the experimental group ) for the value of social tolerance between Muslims and Christians of the students on the scale before and after the professional intervention”.
- Sub- second hypothesis :”There are differences with statistical significance between the mean scores of the students ( the experimental group ) for the value of social peace between Muslims and Christians of the students on the scale before and after the professional intervention”.
- Sub-third hypothesis :”There are differences with statistical significance between the mean scores of the students ( the experimental group ) for the value of social communication between Muslims and Christians of the students on the scale before and after the professional intervention”.
• Second major hypothesis of the study:
”There are differences with statistical significance between the mean scores of the students ( the experimental group ) on observation manual of the behaviors relating to practice of national unity values of the students before and after the professional intervention”. And are validated this hypothesis through the main test the validity of the following three sub- hypotheses:
- Sub-first hypothesis:”There are differences with statistical significance between the mean scores of students ( group experimental) for behaviors relating to the practice value of the social tolerance between Muslims and Christians of the students on the observation manual the behaviors associated to practice of national unity values among students before and after the professional intervention ”.
- The second sub- hypothesis:”There are differences with statistical significance between the mean scores of students( group experimental) for behaviors relating to the practice value of social peace between Muslims and Christians of the students on the observation manual the behaviors relating to practice of national unity values before and after professional intervention”.
- The third sub- hypothesis:”There are differences with statistical significance between the mean scores of students (group experimental) for behaviors relating to the practice value of social communication between Muslims and Christians of the students on the observation manual the behaviors relating to practice of national unity values before and after professional intervention”.
Fifthly: The Concepts of The Study.
Determined the basic concepts used in the study are as follows:
1. The concept of the program.
2. The concept of professional intervention.
3. The concept of generalist practice in social work.
4. The concept of support.
5. The concept of values.
6. The concept of national unity.
Sixthly:Methodological Procedures of The Study:
1. Type of study: A quasi-experimental study.
2. Approach used: The quasi-experimental approach.
3. The systematic Design of the study:The quasi-experimental design used in this study is the design non –equivalent control group design (comparison groups):This type of design was used in this study because it is like in his public image classic experimental design based on tribal measurement and Posttest measurement of two experimental and control groups.
4. Tools of the study:
A - Scale values of national unity among preparatory school students.
B -Observation Manual behaviors relating to the exercise of national unity values among students in the preparatory stage.
5. Areas of study:
• The human sphere: intentional sample of (72) students of them (38) Muslim student, (34) student Christian of Preparatory Second grade who suffer from low or weakness in the level of the exercising of national unity values,and including two class,were divided into two groups, A control group and the other experimental, and volume one group (36) student demanded of them (19) Muslim student, (17) Christian student.
• Spatial domain: School Ezbet Nassar Boys prep of the educational Abnoub management of the Directorate of Education, Assiut Governorate.
• The time domain: Includes professional intervention period with the students (the experimental group) which is estimated at almost six months any of nearly a full academic year (2012/2013), from mid-October (2012) to the end of April (2013).
Seventhly: Results The Study:
The study has achieved its objectives and proved the health of hypotheses as follows:
• The study proved the validity of the first main hypothesis is: ”There are differences with statistical significance between the mean scores of the students on a scale national unity values before and after the intervention professional.” And thus proved the sub- three hypotheses emanating from this hypothesis first major.
• The study proved the validity of a second major hypothesis: ”There are differences with statistical significance between the mean scores of the students on the observation manual the behaviors relating to practice of national unity values before and after professional intervention”. And thus proved the sub- three hypotheses emanating from this the second major hypothesis.
