المستخلص The thesis came in four chapters preceded by an introduction and ended by the conclusion. The Introduction dealt with a preface of the subject, the region of the study, objectives of the study, reasons of selecting the subject, methodology and followed approaches, difficulties that faced the student, stages the study went through, previous studies, and the study plan. The thesis ended with a conclusion which includes the summary of the thesis and a number of findings and recommendations, appendixes, and the list of Arabic and foreign references. Chapter 1 is titled: (Geographic Distribution of Livestock in the Governorate of Sharkia), and it dealt with:- The development of the numbers of livestock units between the two years 1981 and 2009 and the factors which contributed to thisdevelopment between the mentioned two years. The chapter also dealt with the geographic distribution of livestock in the governorate in order to define the factors which contributed in shaping the map of the geographic distribution of livestock in the governorate, as well as defining the kind composition of poultry farms and their geographic distribution in the governorate, the distribution of the numbers of bee hives and the development of these numbers, the fishery water areas in the government in addition to recognizing the relative importance of the kinds of livestock in the districts of the governorate and the livestock density in them. Chapter 2 dealt with: (The Influential Geographic Factors on Livestock in the Governorate of Sharkia), and it dealt with:- Environmental factors that influence the raising of livestock in the governorate and the examination of the relation between the environment pollution and livestock health in the governorate. The chapter demonstrated the winter and summer green fodder, dried fodder, and manufactured fodder. The chapter dealt with a study on the fodder factory in the government. The nutritional value of fodder substances in the governorate has been studied in order to determine how sufficient to the livestock needs, in addition to the study of the veterinary care and recognizing the activity of veterinary medicine in the governorate in providing the veterinary service such as the diagnosis of diseases and the vaccinations against epidemic and contagious diseases, along with the study of agricultural employment in the governorate and the development of its numbers. Moreover, the effect of the availability of agricultural machinery in freeing cattle from field work has been studied. |
