This study consists of a preface, three chapters, and a conclusion:
In the preface, I discussed some definitions of fragmentation and its impact on both of the author and derough the following two sides: the fragmentation as an experimental narrative and sequence of fragmentation.
In the first chapter, I tried to classify the novels in which this phenomena exists and found that its aspects may be : association in which I studied Stream of concsciousness and dream as techniques were employed in new novel as frames control the narrative consequence. Then, Alternation in which I studied models of the same times show through Montage and Collage. Then, Proximate in which I studied models of sequence narrative. And the repeating narrative, in which I discussed a different type of narratives which depend on repetition of the incident round itself without unity and with giving different viewpoints which cause this repeating narrative.
In the second chapter ” characteristics of fragmentation” I discussed the qualities of fragmentation which may exist in two aspects, the first is the linguistic characteristics which consisted at the same time with the fragmentation.
The second is general characteristics of fragmentation in which I studied the character, paratexts and employment of formal means.
The third chapter ” the defects of fragmentation” studies dangers and mistakes which threaten the fragmentation, like the danger of experimentation, danger of the technique on which the narrative depended on in presenting anew frame of structure and the linguistic and writing mistakes.
In the conclusion I mentioned the most important results I retched through my thesis.
