Of the total number of 600 respondents, 284(47.3) were from the rural district and 316(52.7%) were from the urban district and there were 180(30%) males as compared to 420(70%) females. The present study showed school was the main source of information 176(29%), after the mass media 276(46%).It is already clear the importance of the media in the knowledge of young people and also shows the spectrum attention of young people through the media and other means of modern knowledge and available to the youth . Therefore, it is necessary to focus on the media and care about what is announcing or saying in these methods and ensure their validity. The present study showed that 420 students (70%) thought hepatitis B is major health problem in Egypt, which reflects the awareness of the problem .The present study showed that 270 students (45%) will like to get vaccine for hepatitis B free of charge, which reflecting the fear of vaccines and youth lack of knowledge of the importance of vaccines to maintain the health of the individual from the disease, which could make him suffer a lifetime, but probably cost him his life. The present study showed that most students 456(76%) in the present study were ready to go for further treatment if they be tested positive to HBV, this reflects the willingness of young people infected in speeding up an infection in taking the necessary treatment but you must teach young people that prevention is better than cure for the contagious disease treatment costs lot of money despite the fact that the prevention costless and protects against disease of the young man finally.
