Through showing the criminal protection of civilizational heritage , we tried to handle all the aspects of this subject matter . In Chapter One , we showed the historical development of the legislations connected with the protection of civilizational heritage . In Chapter Two , we showed the definition of civilizational heritage and distinguished between it and what looks like it when showed the legal nature of the civilizational heritage . In Chapter Three , we handled the forms of crimes connected with the civilizational heritage . Thus we showed in Section One the crime of illegal prospecting for monuments. In Section Two, we studied the crimes of appropriating the civilizational heritage . In Section Three, we showed the crimes of damaging the civilizational heritage. Then we reached a number a number of results the most important ones of which will be stated and followed by the most important recommendations: upon studying these crimes it was clear to us that the monumental legislations strictly imposes a punishment in most of these crimes. But other legislations deemed these crimes petty and impose punishments that aren’t in proportion to the gravity of these crimes. Therefore, we suggested as for the Arab legislator to pay attention to the danger of these crimes when enacting minor punishments for the perpetrators of these crime.
