Abstract This work was conducted to study the effect of substitution of corn with dried tomato pomace and dried brewer grain (DTP-DBG mix) with or without enzyme in broiler diet on productive efficiency parameters growth performance, carcass traits, some immune response measurements and serum cholesterol, triglycerides, lipoproteins, blood glucose and blood profile ) and economic efficiency parameters (costs, returns, net profit and collective and partial economic measures) in broilers production. A total number of 360 unsexed one day old chicks of Cobb breed were used in this experiment. The chicks were randomly allotted into 8 equal groups (45 bird/group), then each group divided into 3 replicates (15 bird/replicate). The broiler chicks of group (1) were fed on the basal diet without supplementation (control group). Broiler chicks of group (2) in were fed on basal diet with addition of enzyme (1g/kg diet). Broiler chicks of group (3) in were fed on basal diet substituted by 5% of DTP-DBG mix. Broiler chicks of group (4) in were fed on basal diet substituted by 5% of DTP-DBG mix with enzyme addition (1g/kg diet). Broiler chicks of group (5) in were fed on basal diet substituted by 10% of DTP-DBG mix .Broiler chicks of group (6) were fed on basal diet substituted by 10% of DTP-DBG mix with enzyme addition (1g/kg diet). Broiler chicks of group (7) in were fed on basal diet substituted by 15% of DTP-DBG mix .Broiler chicks of group (8) were fed on basal diet substituted by 15% of DTP-DBG mix with enzyme addition (1g/kg diet). We studied the variables that affecting productive efficiency which included body weight, body weight gain, feed consumption. |
