Abstract

The pressure vessels are playing an important role in the world
Industrial Technology. They are predominantly used in all
Manufacturing, Chemical and Petrochemical, Oil Production and
Nuclear plants. Many operating pressure vessels have inherent great
potential energy that is when released, for example as a result of
material failure. there is a possibility of life and property destruction.
As a vital and critical component in the industry, many design codes
and references have been issued to demonstrate the design rules.
materials. fabrication, inspection and testing of pressure vessels. The
intention is to guarantee vessel sound structure which safely satisfies
its operating duties and consequently secure the continuity of
uninterrupted plant production
Alike any piece of equipment. depending on 1ts construction and
operating environment, the pressure vessel is deteriorating by time.
hence require frequent inspection and maintenance programs to
ensure that the original design criteria are ever maintained.
