Abstract this study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a web-Based program for developing EFL students’ listening comprehension and critical speaking skills. the study adopted a one pre-post test group design. participants of the study were 20 third year English majors at Suez Faculty of Education. the instruments included: a pre-post listening comprehension test and a pre-post critical speaking skills test. the participants were all exposed to web-based intervention to enhance their listening comprehension and critical speaking skills. the finding revealed a statistically significant difference in the one pre-posttest group mean scores on the preand posttest of listening comprehension, in favor of the posttest. also a statistically significant difference was found in the one pre-posttest group mean scores on the pre and posttest of critical speaking in favor of the posttest. the web-based program WBP was effective in developing EFL students’ listening comprehension and critical speaking skills. |
