Abstract The thesis is about the ionic solvation of some electrolytes namely calcium chloride, barium chloride and barium nitrate in water , methanol and their aqueous mixtures at different temperatures. Also the solvation of the salt complexes with ligands namely Ampicillin sodium salt (AMP), 2-mercaptoimidazol (MI) and Oxytetracycline hydrochloride (OTC) were studied in the same solvents at different temperatures. The thesis consists of four chapters and the first chapter of this thesis is about general introduction on the solvation of electrolyte solutions, its importance, previous literature works and the recent applications for conductance. The second chapter is the experimental part explains the chemicals, solvents used and the preparation of solutions, ligands and the, equipment used for conductivity, density, solubility, spectrophtometric measurements also for in vivo studies. The third chapter contains the results and discussions for all the experimental data. The third chapter consists of 11 parts. Thesis contains experimental data that can be used for estimation of the salts analytically in human body, environment and in many industrial applications as a fast, inexpensive , direct and reliable way of measuring the ionic content in a solution. |
