المستخلص

- The Present aimed to Search For the relationship between a style of problem solving and the geometric thinking loop according Sternberg model and their relationship with the academic achievement and self-organized learning for the students of 2 grade_ Math. Department- faculty of Education - Assuit University. Also, the prediction of academic achievement and with the level of self-organized learning by the degrees of the students in the measurements of the style of problem solving and the thinking loop.
- The sample of the studying consisted of (84) students (male-female) from the students in the 2nd grade- math. Department-faculty of education –Assuit University. The researcher used a measurement of problem solving which is prepared by the researcher and a test of the geometric thinking loop and a measurement of self- organized learning which are prepared by the researcher.
- The results of study showed that: There is a statistically significant correlation between the students’ degrees in the studying achievement and each of the style of problem solving, the geometric thinking loop and self-organized learning and that is in significant level 0, 01. There is a statistically significant correlation between the students’ degrees in self-organized learning and each of the style of problem solving and the geometric thinking loop and that is in significant level 0, 01. There is a statistically significant correlation between the students’ degrees in the geometric thinking loop and the style of problem solving and that is in significant level 0, 01. There are no statistically significant differences between average of the students’ degrees of males and females in each of the style of problem solving, the geometric thinking loop and self-organized learning. The results referred that the studying achievement can be predicted by know the students’ degrees in the style of problem solving and thinking loop, and the results referred that self-organized learning can be predicted by know the students’ degrees in the style of problem solving and thinking loop.
