- Research Objectives The current research study aimed at: Assigning a framework of a project-based programme for 4th and 6th –year pupils Identifying the effectiveness of the suggested programme in developing some creative-artistic design skills for 4th and 6th –year pupils Research Procedures To answer the research questions, the following procedures were followed Reviewing relevant research studies; -Reviewing some educational programmes design models Pre-administering the test and observation sheet to the research group Teaching the programme to the research group Post-administering the test and observation sheet to the research group Results The study reached the following results There are statistically significant differences at the 0.01 level between the means of scores of pupils in both pre- and post-administration for the first group (i.e. primary-4) on the design skills test here are statistically significant differences at the 0.01 level between the means of scores of pupils in both pre- and post-administration in the creative design skills in favour of the post-administration; this indicates an improvement in the creative-artistic skills for the 1st group (i.e. primary-4) following the administration of the programme There are statistically significant differences at the 0.01 level between the means of scores of pupils in creative design skills in both pre- and post-administration; this indicates improvement in creative-artistic design skills for the 2nd group (i.e. primary-six pupils) following programme administration Recommendations Urging teachers at primary schools to employ active learning strategies in a way that develops pupils’ thinking.
