Abstract
The present thesis includes two parts, the first one deals with an investigation of the reaction of picric acid with aromatic compounds. the second part involves a study of the polarographic behaviour of some nitroohenols in solutions of varying PH in the absence and presence of anionic, cationic and non-ionic surface active materials.
