Abstract
Measuring the sensitivity Alvarado scoring system values with Color DDoppler ultrasonigraphic findings in the diagnosis ofacute appendicitis in adult in conjugation manner.
Eligible patients with suspected acute appendicitis admitted to the emergency department in both teaching hospital of Misr university for science and technology and Suez Canal University hospital from May 2011 to March 2012.
All eligible patients enrolled in the study were subjected to full nedical history sheet, physical examination, laboratory assessment, scoring system using modified Alvarado score, and Doppler Ultrasonographic examination (done to group B only) with especial stress on the right lower abdominal quadrant searching for signs of appendicitis or any other abnormalities.
