Abstract The role of Laryngopharyngeal reflux in minor associated pathological lesions of the larynx has a great controversy. In this study we tried to answer the question: Does laryngopharyngeal reflux have a role in minor associated pathological lesions of the larynx? The results of this study confirmed the significant role of LPR in edema & hyperaemia of arytenoids, diffuse laryngeal erythema, vocal fold polyp and granuloma, thick endolaryngeal mucus and posterior commissure hypertrophy. |
