Abstract This in-vitro study was performed to evaluate the bond strength of the four different obturation systems which are (GP/AH plus sealer, GF, RS SE system and ER system) to root canal dentin by using push-out test. A total of 80 human freshly extracted mandibular premolar teeth with straight, mature fully developed, single root of a nearly comparable size and with fully matured roots were used in this study. The crowns were removed at the cementoenamel junction leaving a root of nearly 16 mm and the working length of each root canal was established using K file (size 10). The eighty roots were prepared using hand stainless steel Kfiles taper 0.02 with step back technique up to master apical file #40. Coronal 2/3 of the canal was then completed by stainless steel k-hand file larger than the last file used in step back up to #80 which were used for flaring the canal in circumferential filing motion. |
