Abstract
1. Objective:The main objective of this study was to find the incidence, indications, abuse, fetomaternal complications and methods to reduce incidence of cesarean section in a Governmental Hospital in El-Gharbia governorate.2. Design: This study is a retrospective observational study, a survey conducted at El-Menshawy General Hospital at the period from January to the end of December 2012.3. Main outcome measures: a. Incidence of CS in a Governmental Hospital in El–Gharbia governorate.b. Indications of CS.c. Abuse of CS.d. Methods of reduction of the incidence of CS.
