Abstract Endometriosis is one of the most commonly encountered diseases in gynecology and infertility (Dludi, et al. 1988).It develops at any age after menarche specially btween 20-40 years (Schweppe , 1988) . Its incidence is unknown and its prevalence ranges between 30 to 50% depending on the specific study population of infertile couples (Doupont, et al. 1990). Endometriosis is the condition in which tissue resembling endometrium is found in various extrautrine locations, but chiefly in the pelvic cavity (Jones and Jones 1982). |
