Abstract

The first one with the literature survey of the azo chemmfrom the structural and applied view points. asic characteristic points for the coordination chemmsuch class of compounds are given. second chapter is related to the experimental The synthesis of both, the ligands and their trans- D metal complexes are described. The azo ligands sellinvestigation are those prepared from 5trihydroxybenzoic acid where substituents with diffft electron character properties (-H, p-OCH3, m-N02, and m-COOH) are studied The analytical data depict different complexes with the stoichio- ies 1:1, 1:2, 2:1 and 2:3 (M:L) depending on the transsligand.
