Abstract A literature survey of hydrazone and hydrazone-oxime complexes and of pheicochemical measurements applied in their study was made. Preparation of diacetylmonoxine benzohydrazone 11gand and ita corresponding metallic complexes, working procedures and experimental techniques were described. Pure solid Cu(II), Ni(II), Ca(II), (II), (II) and Co(II) diacetylmonoxine benzohydrazone complexes formed in simple stoichiometric ratios, were isolated from ethanolic Bolution. Diacetylmonoxime banzohydrazone only could. behave as an acid on interaction with Cu(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) chlorides. The composition of the complexes was determined by conductometric titratics of metal salt solutions with more concentrated ligand solutions. Complexes formed in simple ratios, similar to thor isolated in the solid state, exist in solution. Spectral studios were carried out on the reaction between diacetylmo oxies benzohydrazone and Cu(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) in ethanol. Absorption spectra of metal-ligand aixtures in the ultraviolet region confirmed the presence. |
