Abstract This thesis comprises four chapters, the first of which deals with general review on the synthesi and spectral properties of aromatic orthohydroxy azomethine compounds. the well acid base Special attention has been directed to demonstrate tautomeric behaviour properties of these class of compounds. The effect of solvent on the equilibria between different tautomeric forms have intermolecular hydrogen bonding have demonstrated. This chapter also includes been reviewed. Both intra- and been also the aim of investigation and statement of the problem. The second chapter of this thesis is devoted for the results obtained from studies on the spectral behaviour of N-salicylidene aroyl hydrazines. It comprises six parts and includes the following: 1. Absorption spectra of N-salicylidene aroyl hydrazines and related compounds. |
