Abstract End stage liver disease is considered a serious health problem. Liver transplantation is almost the only curative treatment . the limited number of the donors and the post operative complications are major obstacles. Stem cells are ”pluripotent” cells that have the capacity to differentiate into any of the many different types of cells that together form the human body. Aim of this work is to study autologous bone marrow...haematopoietic stem cell (BMHSCS) transplantation to patients with advanced (Child C) class liver cirrhosis and to study the benefitial effects of BMHSCS therapy on the liver function and the quality of life of such patients and compare this effect to matched control group of patients with Child C class liver cirrhosis remained on ordinary treatment(without BMHSCS transplantation). |
